Burger Meester
Posted: March 6th, 2010 | Author: amyabaker | Filed under: Food | Tags: amsterdam, beef, burgers, cheap, dining, eating out, feta, pumpkin | 4 Comments »Burger Meester is not only unbelievably delicious but available at three different locations throughout the city and easy on the wallet (a feat here in Amsterdam). You can order a regular sized burger or a ‘mini’ for half the price, and the menu ranges from Lamb to Tuna and Pumpkin patties.
Having sampled the ‘Mini Trio’ for €10.50, I can confidently recommend the FetaBurger, Meester Biefburger and a PompoenBurger (pumpkin). Or if you’re opting for a healthy route, try their “Burger as a Main” where the burger patty can be served with a salad and no bun for €2 extra.
Check their addresses here, to find the closest one to home.

my amsterdam digging is definitely not as deep as yours, but you’re late on this one
i love burger meester, but can’t really agree that is easy on the wallet! come on, 8 euros for a (delicious, amazing, i give you that) burger… but not fries, salad or drinks? that’s a little much…
i’d like to counter BM with another amazing burger place next to rembrandtplein’s burger king: burger bar. they have not as many burger ideas as BM, but they do have fries (extremely good ones) and burgers are cheaper. with 12 euros i ate a 250grams burger with a drink and medium fries (which means i could barely stand afterwards)
sorry for the burger rant!
ciao

Thanks for the suggestion. It seems amazing. I might go for the minis as they are more in my price range. So looking forward to the pumpkin one!
Yumm Burgers. Nicola I love Burger Bar. I just always want to puke afterwards cause it’s so much food!
