After months of ruminating, my Etsy store has finally opened! I only have four holiday greeting cards at the moment but I plan to have many more prints, ceramics, and photography in 2012. Here’s my first attempt at designing greeting cards!
Amsterdam might be the bike city capital of the world but I must say Berlin ain’t doing so bad either. The majority of my time spent in Berlin was on two wheels and I found it to be just as easy as Amsterdam. I did find the bikers in Berlin to be a little more urban and less casual. Most bikes seemed to have gears and two baskets, therefore not much doubling up on on a single bike. It seems like having a back basket in Amsterdam is almost offensive since riders are always in the situation of giving our bikeless buddies a ride.
Wow, didn’t realize a holiday celebrating the birthday of your old queen while selling junk on the streets and wearing orange could be so fun! Far surpassed my expectations! I highly recommend partaking in Queens day if you ever get a chance.
