The Party Huis

My roomies and I have made several attempts to try and transition from our grad studenty lives to working responsible adults. We tried to make our non-student apartment look classy and DWELLesque, but with the frequent birthday celebrations and dinner parties, the house is becoming tackier with streamers, banners, and balloons. Truth is, nothing seems to have changed except trading in going to school with going to work.

Queen’s Night at Supper Club

My lovely friend Andre is hosting a fun party at Supper Club for Queens Night this thursday! I’ve been watching Andre host supper club events for a couple of months now and every night has been really amazing. I have a feeling their Queens Night party will be insane. Party starts at 24:00 and ends at 04:00, cover is 15 euros.

Subbacultcha Magazine Party march 26

Subbacultcha is hosting a party for a  their Magazine release this Friday. Groningen based band, Accadians will be performing at the Nieuw Anita. Show starts at 20:30, 6 euros and free if you are on the mailing list. Check out their magazine online here.

SUBBACULTCHA! 5 Year Anniversary Party

If you are in search of something on the opposite end of the spectrum from Bone Thugs, then head over to the other side of Melkweg and join the Subbacultcha! anniversary party this evening. This monthly music magazine is throwing a fun event including 12 live bands and Djs till 4 am. Tickets range from 10 euros to 5 euros depending on what time you show up. More information here.

Flex Bar Halloween

Celebrated Halloween at the wonderful Flex Bar on Saturday. The little club is tucked away in Westerpark and had some really great DJs. Definitely plan on going back.
